Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Brooke Buckhannon has been named OAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Seventeen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2018 semester.

Sixteen students achieved membership in Kappa Mu Epsilon, National Mathematics Honor Society, in the spring 2018 semester.

The following students achieved membership in the Baldwin Wallace University Business Honor Society in the spring 2018 semester. The society encourages and supports a deep network of personal and professional contact through ongoing communication and special invitations to campus events.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is pleased to announce a new class of BW Student Ambassadors, a student organization that fosters relationships between BW alumni and the University.

Forty-one kindhearted Baldwin Wallace students elected to spend their week-long spring break volunteering in five cities across the nation. Each experience, led by a BW student with support from a faculty or staff adviser, was made possible through the BW Alternative Break service program. Student volunteers traveled to Waco, Texas; Clarkston, Georgia; San Francisco; Miami; and Washington.

The winning pair of President Andrew Henthorn of Cleveland and Vice President Allyson Crays of Warren, Ohio, officially took office during the inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Baldwin Wallace University junior right-handed pitcher Danny Cody has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career.

Over 60 students participated in the 17th Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Baldwin Wallace theatre students were nationally acknowledged for their talents when a representative from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region 3, attended BW's production of Tom Stoppard's Communist-centered play, "Rock 'N' Roll." Two students received nominations to participate in the prestigious Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Competition, and six additional students were presented awards for their behind-the-scenes work on the show.
