Baldwin Wallace University Volleyball Head Coach Scott Carter is pleased to announce that 18 student-athletes have selected BW to continue volleyball careers.

Thirty-seven students spent the spring 2017 semester away from BW learning off-campus. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Australia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Morocco, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Washington, D.C.

NEW ORLEANS - Five Baldwin Wallace University track and field student-athletes have been honored by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) as All-Academic Individuals.

The following students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon Nu Chapter of the National Communication Association's Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society in the spring 2017 semester.

Senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference Defender of the Year Josiah Greve (Milford) has been selected to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) NCAA Division III All-West Region team.

Three diverse cities, 27 compassionate Baldwin Wallace University students and one short summer break week added up to a world of difference. The BW Alternative Break service program gives students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. The summer 2017 student volunteers traveled to Cleveland, Minneapolis and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park in Michigan. Each journey was led by a BW student with support from a University faculty or staff adviser.

The Baldwin Wallace University Honors Program officially inducted 17 rising sophomore students at a pinning ceremony during the spring 2017 semester. The program strives for a learning environment inside and outside the classroom that engages the whole student, seeks to connect theoretical ideas to real world applications, fosters independent thinking and brings students together into a community of scholars.

The BW men's and women's intercollegiate racquetball teams are the best in the country. Ohio Racquetball Association Hall of Fame Head Coach Tim Miller and his teams have proven it over and over. Once again this year, Miller and the Yellow Jackets captured USA Racquetball national titles.

Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference jumper Erin Kasper (Amherst/Marion Steele) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors (CoSIDA) NCAA Division III Track and Cross Country Team.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) announces 2017-18 CIG Growth Practice interns. The interns will spend the summer and upcoming academic year working as part of a project team on professional consulting projects for CIG clients, which include Cliffs Natural Resources, Parker Hannifin Corporation, OEConnection, FirstEnergy and Westfield Group, as well as various non-profit organizations.

Senior four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and three-time Academic All-OAC midfielder Maddie Russell (Lakewood/Rocky River) has been named as the first Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American.

Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement, showcased student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event of the 10-day festival was the Day of Excellence, which featured exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, exhibits, live presentations and performances.

The BW Cyber Defense Team scored impressive showings in state, regional and national competitions this year including a top place in the National Cyber League National Championship and another first place in the Ohio Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

Baldwin Wallace University baseball junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference third baseman Spencer Badia (Bellaire) has been named a College Sports Information Directors (CoSIDA) Academic All-American.

Under the direction of Shinnerrie Jackson, a talented cast and crew staged Lynn Nottage's "Intimate Apparel" during the spring 2017 semester. The breathtaking and moving drama ranks among the best American plays of the century. Esther, an African-American woman living in the dawn of the last century, makes an uncommon living sewing exquisite lingerie, allowing her rare access into the private lives of others.
