The Baldwin Wallace University football team announced its team awards at its annual season ending banquet last week in the Strosacker Hall on the BW campus.

The Baldwin Wallace University Cyber Defense Team is number one in the country after the dust settled and the points were tallied in the National Cyber League (NCL) 2017 Fall Season competition. The team, dubbing itself "Ken's Little Pwnies" for BW faculty advisor Kenneth Atchinson, fought to the top of the NCL leaderboard outranking 174 teams nationally across all brackets.

For the first time in her career, Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Kelly Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) has been selected as the OAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball sophomore guard Riley Schill (Sheffield Lake/Elyria Catholic) has been chosen as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Under the direction of Scott Plate, a talented cast and crew staged Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" during the fall 2017 semester. In Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, people grow up, get married, live and die in a hauntingly beautiful meditation on the glory of daily existence.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Twenty-five Baldwin Wallace University students were inducted into the Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society in the fall 2017 semester. ASL is a premier national honor society recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Members are selected from the highest 20 percent of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at BW and are matriculated in their first undergraduate degree program.
