Baldwin Wallace University congratulates our May 2015 graduates! The following students completed all requirements for a graduate and/or undergraduate degree.

From science to music to sociology and more, 10 students pursued research or creative projects of their own design under the supervision of a faculty mentor as part of BW's Summer Scholars Program. Scholars lived together for 10 weeks on campus and had extensive opportunities to engage in collaborative activities within an intellectual community.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Spring Semester 2015 at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Four members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team have been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as Scholar Athletes.

Three members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's field teams have garnered United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American multi-event Melanie Winters (Stow-Stow-Munroe Falls) concludes her stellar third season as she earns United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors. Winters joins 419 other Division III women student-athletes to garner the award.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American sprinter Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ St. Anselm's Abbey) has been selected as a first-team CAPITAL ONE Division III Academic All-American for the second straight year.

Nineteen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), International Honor Society in Education in the Spring 2015 semester. KDP has been fostering excellence in education and promoting fellowship among those dedicated to teaching since 1911.

A talented cast and crew from Baldwin Wallace University staged "Dark of the Moon" during the spring 2015 semester. The play, written by Howard Richardson and William Berney, is a chilling Smoky Mountain romance based on the haunting folk ballad, "Barbara Allen." Directed by Scott Plate, "Dark of the Moon" recounts the story of John, a strange "witch boy," who falls in love with the beautiful Barbara Allen.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American and CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American sprinter Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ Saint Anselm's Abbey) has been named to the 2015 CAPITAL ONE Division III Academic All-District 7 first-team

Two members of the record setting Baldwin Wallace University baseball team have been selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Mideast Region team.

Sophomore Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder and OAC Defender of the Year Maddie Russell (Lakewood/Rocky River) has been selected second-team Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Great Lakes Region.

Three members of the school-record setting Baldwin Wallace University baseball team have been selected as to the D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region team.

The 2015 Student Life and Leadership Awards recognize the accomplishments of student leaders, faculty and staff advisors, organizations and programs that have made an impact on the BW community and beyond.

Thirty-three Baldwin Wallace University spring sport student-athletes earned spring Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. The group includes six softball players, five men's track and field competitors, four baseball players, four men's tennis players, four women's lacrosse players, four women's track and field competitors, three men's lacrosse players, two women's tennis players and one women's golfer.

Two Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis student-athletes, junior number-one singles and doubles player Peter Harris (Akron/Revere) and junior No.2 singles and No.1 doubles player Doug Ganim (Westerville / Olantangy Orange), have been named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis team. Harris also was chosen as the 2015 OAC Player of the Year.

Two Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis student-athletes, junior number-one singles and doubles player Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) and sophomore No.2 singles and doubles player Claire Watts (Medina/Highland), have been named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis team. This is the third straight year for Blatt and the first for Watts.

BW's premier celebration of student success, "Ovation 2015: Unleashed Potential," spotlighted the outstanding creativity, research, and academic and artistic achievements of BW students. At the Honors Award Ceremony that caps off the event, over 100 students were recognized with awards and scholarships.

Three Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse players have been selected as All-Ohio Athletic Conference and sophomore midfielder Maddie Russell (Lakewood/Rocky River) was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Year.

Four graduating seniors successfully nominated high school teachers for special recognition this spring. Teachers who engaged, inspired and encouraged the BW students, while preparing them for college, were recognized with the James Thomas High School Teacher Award. The award is funded by BW alumnus and trustee, James Thomas, chairman and CEO of Thomas Properties Group LLC, who lives in Los Angeles with his wife Sally.

Five member of the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team have been selected as All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

Baldwin Wallace University sophomore second baseman Cole Nieto (Brunswick/St. Ignatius) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Baldwin Wallace University senior softball second baseman Brittany Lightel (Tallmadge) ends her collegiate career just as she started it with being tabbed as an All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection.

Eighteen talented student writers and artists at Baldwin Wallace University are featured in the 2015 edition of BW's annual literary and art journal, "The Mill." As a student-directed and student-operated publication, "The Mill" showcases the creative achievements of gifted students from across campus disciplines.

Students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon Nu Chapter of the National Communication Association's Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) Honor Society in the Spring 2015 semester. LPH seeks to recognize, foster and reward outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) is pleased to announce the appointment of the 2015-16 CIG Student Fellows. The students, representing 24 majors, will spend the upcoming academic year exploring innovation, entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership.

Baldwin Wallace University sophomore women's lacrosse goalkeeper Amanda Getto (Medina) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week.

BW's student government elected Kasey McGee as Student Body Senate President.
