BW's student government elected Kasey McGee as Student Body Senate President.

Baldwin Wallace University junior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Peter Harris (Akron/Revere) has been selected as the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Five students and two faculty members involved with BW's radio station, WBWC 88.3FM "The Sting," were Silver Microphone award winners in the 2015 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Awards.

Students at Baldwin Wallace University chose Ashley King as Student Body President and Tom Jackson as Vice President in campus-wide elections this spring. The student leaders, who were inaugurated on February 25, will provide leadership for a variety of student-led initiatives on the Berea campus for the next year.

New movement, new music and sociology! Student composers, choreographers and dancers created and performed "The Warriors' Journey," a collaborative movement/music project inspired by Dr. Carol Gregory's work evaluating workplace violence prevention for the United States Marine Corps

Baldwin Wallace University junior three-time Division III track and field All-American Melanie Winters (Stow/ Stow-Munroe Falls) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

BW student vocalists and orchestra members performed the opera "La finta giardiniera" this spring. The early Mozart gem tells the fun and fantastical story of a noblewoman who disguises herself as a gardener to go looking for the man she loves. Romance literally drives the main characters mad, but they come to their senses and it all works out in the end.

Baldwin Wallace University junior Division III All-American thrower Kim Gallavan (Auburn Township/ Kenston) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Seventeen Baldwin Wallace University winter sport student-athletes earned Acaemic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. A student-athlete must maintain a sophomore or higher class standing, maintain varsity status and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.496 (rounded up to 3.5).

Baldwin Wallace University senior basketball standout Justin Roth (Parma) was named to the 2014-2015 NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Division III All-Great Lakes Region second-team.

Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC baseball pitcher Cory Waite (Willoughby/ South) has been named as OAC Pitcher-of-the-Week.

Baldwin Wallace University sophomore men's tennis student-athlete Kevin Fredrick (Archbold) has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week.

Baldwin Wallace University senior basketball standout Audrey Smolik (Strongsville) was named third-team 2014-2015 D3hoops.com Division III All-Great Lakes Region.

Baldwin Wallace University freshman goalkeeper Mike Dizonno (Buffalo Grove, Ill./ Adalai E. Stevenson) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defender of the Week.

The reviews are in with thumbs up for the Baldwin Wallace University and Beck Center for the Arts collaborative production of "Dogfight," directed by Victoria Bussert with choreography by Gregory Daniels and musical direction by David Pepin. The Plain Dealer touts "Dogfight" as having, "Precision performances - Broadway quality and better." The show has been such a hit; the run was extended through March 22.

Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American pentathlete Melanie Winters (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) has been named as both the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) Great Lakes Division III Region Most Valuable Field Athlete and Most Valuable Track Athlete. It marks the first time a Great Lakes Region student-athlete has earned both awards in the same season.

Twelve students spent 10 weeks during the Fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Ecuador with Dr. Michael Melampy, Professor of Biology. They lived with Ecuadorian host families, traveled through the Galapagos Islands, the Pacific Coast, the Highlands, and the Lowlands. Students were enrolled in biology, Spanish and political science classes and earned a total of 18 credit hours.

Three Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball standouts, senior forward Audrey Smolik (Strongsville), sophomore guard Sydney Clark (Parma/ Lake Ridge Academy) and sophomore forward Clara Lemmon (Canton/Louisville), have been named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Baldwin Wallace University sophomore men's tennis player Nathan Katz (Upper Arlington/Bexley) has garnered his first career Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week accolade. mmary

Three Baldwin Wallace University wrestlers, junior 174-pounder Garrett Chase (Erie Pa./Cathedral Prep), freshman 197-pounder Tyler Maclellan (Medina/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) and junior 125-pound Division III All-American Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) have been named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.
